Growing up I watched my dad take notes on a yellow legal pad any time he was on the phone. When I started my first job, I was told to always take a note pad with me for any meeting. Today, my desk has 2 or 3 different sized note pads, scrap paper and Post-it® notes at the ready. That’s not to say I don’t emply a form of digital note taking so I can jot an idea or capture inportant meeting minutes and have them readily available wherever or whenever I may be. I suppose this makes me a hybrid note taker. On the one hand I’m a little old school. On the other I embrace the fluidity that using a reliable digital tool affords me for both my business and personal life.
When it comes to note taking are you old school with paper only, are you a hybrid of both paper and digital, or are you 100% digital?
